Les Arcs, the ski resort of Savoie: one destination, 5 sites
Located in the heart of the Alps, facing Mont Blanc, the Savoie des Arcs ski resort brings together five sites located at different altitudes. Arc 2000, Arc 1950, Arc 1800, Arc 1600, Peisey-vallandry.
Thanks to its central location, linked to the PARADISKI ski area and its 425 km of slopes, the Arc 1600 resort is the ideal place where you want to come and relax and play sports, summer and winter!
Depending on the weather, in the morning you will choose the best site to start your day: To the left towards Arc 2000 if the sun and the temperature are good, to the right towards Peisey-Vallandry if the sky is overcast.
At the end of the day, you will never be far from your chalet, because Courbaton is in the center of the domain, so the return is easier.
Arriving at the bottom of Arc 1600, you will take a blue track in the woods to arrive directly at the chalet and enjoy the terrace (see video).

Grâce à sa situation centrale, la station Arc 1600 est l’endroit idéal où vous souhaitez venir vous détendre et faire du sport, été comme hiver !
Vous y retrouverez de nombreux commerces de proximités : une supérette, boulangerie, produits régionaux, de nombreux bars et restaurants abordables avec une ambiance familiale, et des traiteur pour des plats à emporter.
Pharmacies, kinés, dentistes et cabinet médical sont dans le village.
Le centre de la Station est facilement accessible de Courbaton à pied en 10 minutes. En voiture, vous mettrez moins de 5 minutes.
Courbaton
The center of the Station is easily accessible on foot in 10 minutes. By car, it will take less than 5 minutes.
You will find many local shops there: a supermarket, bakery, regional products, pizzeria, and a caterer for takeaway meals.
There are many affordable bars and restaurants with a family atmosphere.
Pharmacies, physiotherapists, dentists and medical practices are in the village.
Back on skis
In the morning, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., our trusty shuttle and its driver will be happy to take you to the resort in just a few minutes to reach the ski schools and chairlifts.
In case of insufficient snow, it will always be there to accompany you.
You can also rent it to pick you up from the station or make trips to the Les Arcs area.
You can also go on skis on a blue or red slope, and join the Funicular which will drop you off at the start of the ARC 1600 chairlifts.

En train : Gare de Bourg-Saint-Maurice, desservie par le TGV depuis Paris (4h30) et l'Eurostar depuis Londres en saison. Notre chauffeur privé peut vous récupérer à la gare (service en option).
En voiture : Depuis Chambéry, comptez 1h30 par l'A430 puis la N90. Un parking gratuit est disponible au pied du chalet et dans le hameau de Courbaton
En avion : Aéroports de Chambéry (2h), Genève (2h30) ou Lyon (2h30). Des navettes régulières relient les aéroports à Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
Walks
Courbaton is located on a natural clearing in the heart of the Malgovert forest.
All around the hamlet, numerous forest trails are indicated with the duration of the walks.
They will offer you sumptuous landscapes : At the bend of the paths, you will find mountain pasture chalets, remains of casemates, preserved fauna and flora as well as superb views of the Bourg-Saint-Maurice valley.
Always remember to equip yourself with good shoes or snowshoes!
